Mailtidy is billed per connected account.

  **$1.00 / month per connected account.** Two accounts is $2/month, three is $3/month, and
  so on. Quantity updates automatically as you connect or remove accounts.

## Your free trial

Adding a card starts a **30-day free trial**. You are not charged during the trial, and it
converts to a paid subscription automatically when the trial ends — unless you cancel first.

<Note>
A card on file is required **before you connect your first account**. Add one under
**Settings → Billing**. You can connect accounts as soon as the trial is active.
</Note>

## Managing billing

Everything is under **Settings → Billing**:

  <Card title="Cancel" icon="circle-xmark">
    Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the current period.
  </Card>
</Columns>

## If you have no accounts connected

If your subscription has **zero connected accounts**, Mailtidy won't bill you — the plan is
set to lapse for free at the end of the trial or period instead of charging. Connect an
account again and billing resumes.

## Security

<Info>
Card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure fields and **never reach Mailtidy's
servers**. Mailtidy stores only a reference to your Stripe customer, not your card number.
</Info>

## Closing your account

To close your whole Mailtidy account, use **Settings → Delete account**. This removes your
Mailtidy login and all synced data and cancels billing. **Your email mailboxes are never
touched.** If you're on a paid plan, the close is scheduled for the end of your current
period, and you can undo it with **Keep my account** until then.
